THIS ARTICLE IS MORE THAN FIVE YEARS OLD

This article is more than five years old. Autism research — and science in general — is constantly evolving, so older articles may contain information or theories that have been reevaluated since their original publication date.

Hey scientists, send us your best science photos from 2017! Winning images will be featured in a slide show in our 2017 Year in review issue.

The grand prize is a beautifully illustrated book of Spectrum’s best feature articles. All top entries will be featured on the site, and the winners will receive a Spectrum tote bag.

Send your entries to [email protected] with your name, institution and a brief description of the image by 20 November. (Images should be approximately 300 dpi at 5 by 7 inches.)
