Kathryn Roeder reviews statistical tools for autism

On 18 February, Kathryn Roeder discussed two statistical tools that she and her colleagues have developed. These methods have contributed some of the biggest genetic findings in autism over the past two years. She also explained how other researchers can use these tools for their own genetic analyses.
Kathryn Roeder is professor of statistics and computational biology at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
