    I am working on prenatal valproate rat model of autism which is based on the earlier epidemiology based findings. How powerful my model is as valproate is no more given to pregnant mothers these days?

    Shank3 mutations seem to be more prevalent in individuals that also have ID, why is that the various Shank3 mouse models seem to not have or have very mild leanring and memory deficits?
